ABOUT US
Eileen Spracklen School of Dancing, also known as Dance Dorchester, has been proudly serving the community since 1971.
As the largest Ballroom and Latin American dance school in the area, we offer classes for all ages, levels, and abilities — and we’re proud of the inclusive and supportive environment we’ve built.
Our dedicated team focuses on clear, straightforward instruction, helping you feel confident and ready to join the local dance scene in no time.
We offer a welcoming atmosphere in every class, with plenty of friendly assistants on hand to guide and support you along the way.
From children to adults, beginners to advanced dancers, we provide group classes and private lessons six days a week — sharing our love for dance with everyone who walks through our doors.
We can't wait to welcome you to our dance family.

From the moment I fell in love with dance at a young age, I knew I wanted to become a professional Ballroom Dance Teacher. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with students of all ages and abilities — from complete beginners to experienced open competitors.
No matter who I’m teaching, I find true joy in watching my students grow, gain confidence, and realise just how much they’re capable of achieving.

With both of my parents as dance teachers and a childhood spent in the studio, it was only natural that I would follow in their footsteps. In 2003, I began working alongside my mother, Eileen, offering additional support in class.
Today, I teach both adult and children’s classes, provide bespoke wedding first dance tuition and choreography, all while continuing to develop my skills through ongoing training and teacher development.
